VISION

To become a pioneering Department of producing Outstanding Agricultural Engineers through World Class technical education, training and research.

The Graduates are moulded to become Entrepreneurs, Industrialists, Technocrats and Scientists in the field of Agricultural Engineering.

MISSION

To help the farming Community from present day Challenges in Agriculture through Farm Mechanization, Micro irrigation, Resource conservation of soil, water, energy, Post-harvest handling and Food Processing Technologies by providing quality education along with Industrial tie

Overview

B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) course aims at giving Engineering knowledge in the field of Agriculture. The Department of Agricultural Engineering provides state of the art laboratories for the students including the Farm Machinery, Soil and Water Conservation, Food Processing, Irrigation and Drainage, Bio Energy, Microbiology laboratory and Soil Science laboratory. The department has tied-up with numerous organizations to offer internship and placement opportunities to the students. It also encourages the students to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities for holistic development. The department regularly organizes conferences, seminars, guest lectures, workshops, symposiums and training programmes to maximize the impact of classroom teaching and learning experiences. Apart from the regular curriculum perspective, students have a structured set of non-credit courses such as industrial training, rural job experiences, social care, NCC, sports, language courses, soft skills, and so on.
