The department also offers Ph.D. programmes in all disciplines of Civil Engineering. The department has grown tremendously over the past thirty years and is now recognized as one of the major engineering departments in KARE. The department has excellent infrastructure with ICT enabled, smart and video capturing class rooms, well established laboratories, department library, Seminar halls, and Lecture halls. The department houses Faculty members with PhD degree from NUS, IITs, Anna University and reputed institutions and foreign exposure in structural, environmental, water resources, transportation and construction engineering & management.
