The PhD programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a research-based programme in any of the following core areas: signal/speech /image processing, VLSI and embedded systems, communication, and networking. A good researcher requires a good understanding the state of art in an area, problem formulation, original contributions based on analysis with sufficient mathematical rigour and validation, and a researcher at ECE will be equipped with these skills through profound research supervisors and expertise available. This programme has a five-course work that can be completed in one year. The course work is aimed at providing a student with sufficient breadth and to carry out research. The aim of the programme is to inspire innovation in the field of ECE and improvise existing technologies for better results.
